Dishwasher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality. The Kitchen Helper will assist with food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or cooks
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
• Help with food handling and storage to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Support cooking activities as needed, including assembling ingredients and portioning food
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and adherence to sanitation protocols
• Assist with setting up dining areas and serving stations when required
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Support team members in maintaining an organized kitchen workspace for efficiency

Experience

• Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous
• Experience in food preparation, cooking, or serving roles will be considered a plus
• No formal experience necessary; training will be provided for all duties
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential skills for success in this role
