  • Develop detailed drawings for complex engineering systems and structures under the supervision of a senior engineer or design lead.
  • Perform engineering calculations to support and validate design decisions, including stress, load, dimensional, and fit/tolerance analysis.
  • Produce assembly layouts, sectional drawings, work instructions, and catalog dimension drawings.
  • Generate casting and machining drawings and associated bills of materials as directed by supervisor or as required by project scope.
  • Ensure drawings are in accordance with company design, documentation, and production standards.

3D Modeling using Inventor

  • Develop and maintain 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor
  • Create complete drawing packages, including part drawings, assembly drawings with BOMs and callouts, and manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
  • Apply drawing standards, revision control practices, and drafting conventions to all CAD deliverables.
  • Check drawings for accuracy, format, and completeness after release.

Service & Shop Support

  • Occasional responsibility to work with production as an engineering liaison to document and resolve product manufacturing issues.
  • Interpret and apply fits, tolerances, materials specifications, and manufacturing constraints to ensure designs are producible.
  • Work in a shop environment when required to support service, assembly, or prototype activities.
  • Support reverse engineering efforts, accurately measure and document existing parts to produce take-off drawings as needed.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate tasks as assigned; manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a production environment.
  • Interface with project team members, vendors, and shop personnel to achieve on-time delivery of projects.
