What You'll DoAs a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll play a vital role in supporting the health, comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents:Provide compassionate, resident-centred nursing care in a home-like setting.Administer medications, complete treatments, monitor vital signs, and provide other nursing interventions within your scope of practice.Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in residents' health and care needs.Work collaboratively with Health Care Aides and other members of the care team to provide safe, consistent, and high-quality care.Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to support continuity of care.Provide guidance and support to Health Care Aides and contribute to a positive, respectful team environment.Maintain accurate and timely documentation, care plans, and other required clinical records.Promote resident safety, dignity, choice, and independence while maintaining confidentiality.Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support evidence-informed practices.Practice within the full scope of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses, in accordance with applicable professional standards, legislation, and organizational policies. What You BringLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - active registration with CLHA and in good standing.Current CPR/BCLS certification for healthcare providers.Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.A commitment to person-centered care and compassionate service.Critical thinking skills and a positive, professional attitude.
