Baker – Day Shift

Location: North York, ON (near 401/400)
Compensation: $23.00–$25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Baker to join a growing food manufacturing operation in North York. The successful candidate will have hands-on commercial baking experience, including experience operating large mixers and rack ovens, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hot production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix dough and other bakery products using large commercial mixers.
• Operate and monitor rack ovens to ensure products are baked to specification.
• Follow recipes, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.
• Safely operate bakery equipment and report any equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe production area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial or industrial baking experience required.
• Large mixer experience is required.
• Rack oven experience is required.
• Strong understanding of baking processes, dough handling, and oven operation.
• Comfortable working in a hot production environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
