Millwright - $46-50/hour

We are currently looking for a Red Seal Millwright for full-time permanent position located in Delta, BC. The successful candidate will work on a 4x10 day shift.Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright is responsible for maintenance and repair of equipment used in the production facilities. This position works proactively and uses their experience to solve maintenance related problems in a concise manner to minimize production down time and contribute to manufacturing. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform maintenance on all production equipment in the plant
• Machine small parts for plant equipment as necessary
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment in the plant
• Advise on solutions to related problems with equipment
• Sharpen die sets as necessary
• Weld small components as required in the shop
• Perform major repairs on Punch Press and Roll Form machinery
• Mentor apprentices
• Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience (3 years +) in manufacturing/maintenance
• Journeyperson Ticketed Millwright
• Fabricating experience is considered an asset
• Previous supervisory experience is an asset
• Must have previous working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system
• Ability to work unsupervised with little direction
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Ability to work in a team and contribute to achieve objectives

SCHEDULE:The shift will be 4x10s!!!Mon-Thurs: 5:45am to 4:15pmIt is not a requirement, but if the candidate has some flexibility to work the afternoon/evening shift every now and then, that would be a great asset to us.WHAT IS OFFERED?
