The role supports the ongoing movement and preparation of retail merchandise for distribution to retail locations, including Christmas décor and other seasonal products during peak holiday periods.This role is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy active warehouse work and are comfortable handling merchandise of varying sizes and weights in a fast-paced distribution environment.Benefits of This Opportunity

Job Responsibilities

1. Receive, scan, verify, and store incoming products.
2. Handle and organize seasonal merchandise, including Christmas decorations and related holiday products.
3. Store overstock and ensure products are placed in designated warehouse locations.
4. Lift, move, and handle products weighing up to 50 lbs.
5. Load and unload trailers and move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
6. Process damaged product claims and complete required paperwork.
7. Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies as required.
8. Dispose of garbage and cardboard and maintain a clean work area.
9. Operate warehouse equipment safely as required.
10. Follow all Health and Safety policies, procedures, and workplace regulations.

Who We're Looking For

1. Previous warehouse, distribution, general labour, receiving, or material handling experience is an asset.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
3. Comfortable standing and walking for the majority of an 8-hour shift.
4. Ability to lift, carry, twist, turn, bend, and reach as required.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment and manage multiple tasks.
6. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
7. Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team.

Safety Requirements

1. CSA-approved steel-toe safety shoes are mandatory.
2. Associates must follow all site-specific Health and Safety requirements.
3. Proper lifting and material-handling techniques must be followed at all times.
