Our products are manufactured at our facility in Glencoe, Ontario, with final assembly and shipping completed at our Thamesville facility.


The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced CNC Set-Up Operator to join our production team in Glencoe, ON.


In this role, you'll set up and operate CNC lathes and mills used to manufacture precision metal components. You'll prepare machines for scheduled jobs, select and install tooling, verify offsets, call up CNC programs, complete first-off inspections and monitor production runs for quality and consistency.


What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills for scheduled production jobs.
  • Load material and secure workpieces using appropriate fixtures, chucks and vises.
  • Select and install tooling and verify offsets before machining.
  • Retrieve CNC programs and confirm parameters before production.
  • Complete first-off inspections to verify dimensions and quality.
  • Monitor production runs and make tooling or offset adjustments as required.
  • Identify and communicate equipment, tooling or program issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.


Our Ideal Candidate

  • Has previous experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or mills.
  • Is comfortable with tooling, fixtures and offsets.
  • Can read and interpret engineering drawings and part specifications.
  • Has experience using precision measuring equipment.
  • Understands machining processes and basic CNC program operation.
  • Is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented and quality focused.
  • Can work independently and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
