Class 1 Truck Driver

The Class 1 Truck Driver role will be hauling liquids for Northwest Tank Lines and involves independently operating commercial vehicles, primarily on routes within BC and Alberta during day / night shifts. This solo position requires strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards while transporting including dangerous goods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch teams
• Adhere to all relevant transportation and legal regulations
• Accurately report any accidents or incidents
• Safely transport dangerous goods in accordance with guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 5 or more years of Class 1 driving experience.
• No less than 1 year of bulk fluid hauling experience (equivalences will be considered).
• No less than 1 year of super B experience.
• Highway and off-road driving experience.
• A clean 5 year commercial driver abstract and the ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
• Valid Standard First Aid and H2S Alive tickets or a commitment to obtain them prior to starting training.
