About us
We are a locally owned company providing high quality premium ice cream and small batch ice cream cakes. We make Sara's Old Fashioned Ice Cream Cakes for major grocery retailers across Canada. We are also a private label manufacturer of high-quality and innovative ice cream brands. Our location in Manitoba Street, Vancouver, operate a cash and carry location selling our own products, as well as the most popular brands in the industry to the public.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Warehouse Assistant will work closely with our Production crew and support the team with day-to-day material handling and warehousing activities.
Reporting to the President, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Receive incoming products and production supplies and store them accordingly in the freezer or dry warehouse.
• Put away received products into designated locations, in the freezer
• Be capable of pulling customers orders
• Ensure proper storage of dry goods.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse operations
• Will report to the Store Manager
• Operate the forklift for material handling in a safe manner.
• Coordinate with the Production team and TCD Operations to ensure availability of products and timely movement of products.
• Transfer products to TCD-Surrey and vice versa.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse & freezer.
• Handy Man skills a benefit, minor repairs etc
• Complete responsibilities in accordance with established procedures.
• Full Training available
Requirements
• 1-2 years relevant warehouse experience
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Able to work in a freezer and cooler environment.
• Be capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to perform minor repairs (tools provided)
• Able to take direction in a positive manner.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, time management and people skills
• Capable of working in a freezer ( proper clothing provided )
