We take pride in delivering quality products and providing the same level of service to our customers.We're looking for a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our Logistics Team. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for safely transporting Norstar products to customers while providing a professional and positive customer experience.You become the face of the company when you're on the road and at our customers' locations.This position is full-time during the busy season, with the possibility of reduced hours when delivery demand is lower.ScheduleFull-Time: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday, 7:00 AM to Noon, for approximately 40 hours per week.Part-Time option: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to Noon, when delivery needs require reduced hours.What You'll DoOperate a company-provided truck and trailer to deliver products safely and efficientlyLoad and properly secure products for transportationDeliver products to customers within approximately a 500-mile radius of NorstarProvide professional and courteous customer service at each deliveryEnsure deliveries are completed without damage or claimsObtain properly signed Proof of Delivery documentation and return paperwork to the appropriate departmentKeep the company truck and trailer clean and presentableComplete regular vehicle and equipment inspectionsReport equipment issues promptly so repairs can be addressedFollow all Norstar safety policies and quality standardsWork closely with the Logistics Manager and other team membersTravel to the United States occasionally as requiredWork overtime when requiredWhat We're Looking ForValid Class 3 or Class 1 driver's license with air brake endorsementAbility to provide a clear driver's abstractPrevious load securement experience is an assetKnowledge of applicable DOT requirements, including Hours of Service and vehicle inspectionsAbility to travel to the United States occasionallyAbility to read and understand directions, bills of lading, and packing listsStrong communication and customer service skillsDependable, organized, and safety-focusedAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to follow instructions and company proceduresPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs.Driver's Abstract RequirementCandidates selected for an interview will be required to provide a current driver's abstract dated within the previous 30 days.What Success Looks LikeIn this role, success means:Delivering products safely, on time, and with minimal damage or claimsProperly securing every load before leaving the facilityMaintaining accurate delivery paperwork and Proof of Delivery documentationKeeping the company vehicle clean, safe, and well maintainedCommunicating professionally with customers, the Logistics Team, and leadershipConsistently following safety requirements and applicable driving regulationsRepresenting Norstar positively at every customer interactionCompensation & Benefits$22.00-$31.00 per hour, based on experienceHours may increase during Norstar's busy season based on delivery needsComprehensive benefits packageCompany-provided truck and trailerOpportunities for professional growth and advancementIf you're a reliable professional driver who takes pride in safety, customer service, and representing your employer well, we'd love to hear from you.Join Norstar and become part of a team that succeeds together.
