- Program, operate, and maintain Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using PC-DMIS software
- Develop and optimize CMM inspection programs for new and existing production parts
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Verify dimensional accuracy of precision-machined components against engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
- Conduct inspections using CMMs, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and other precision equipment
- Review material certifications and manufacturing documentation
- Generate inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records
- Investigate non-conforming products and support corrective actions
- Collaborate with Engineering, CNC Machinists, Production, and Project Management to resolve quality issues
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency
- Minimum 5 years of Quality Inspection experience in a precision machining environment
- Minimum 3 years of Hexagon CMM programming experience using PC-DMIS
- Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience inspecting tight-tolerance CNC machined components
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience in nuclear, defence, aerospace, or medical manufacturing is an asset
- Knowledge of CSA N299, ASME Section III, ASME NQA-1, ISO 9001, or Controlled Goods Program requirements is an asset
- Experience with First Article Inspection, RCCA, or ERP/MRP manufacturing systems is an asset
