Payrate: $35.00 + BOE
Our client is currently looking for experienced TIG Welder/Fitters to join their fabrication/manufacturing team in Orangeville, ON.
???? Shift Options- Days: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Afternoons: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Candidates must indicate which shift they are willing to work.
Key Responsibilities- Perform TIG welding and fitting tasks according to project specifications and engineering drawings.
- Read and accurately interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
- Perform fitting, fabrication, cutting, bending, grinding, and layout work.
- Operate a variety of power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Work with stainless steel and aluminum.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Adapt to changing priorities and production requirements in a fast-paced shop environment.
- 5–10 years of hands-on welding and fitting experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in TIG welding.
- Experience with TIG and Stick welding techniques.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, fitting, grinding, and layout.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Strong math and measurement skills for accurate fabrication and layout.
- Experience working with stainless steel and aluminum.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
