GeoSpectrum is growing and has a new career opportunity for an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Project Manager of Major Programs!
Reporting to the Program Manager, the ILS Project Manager plays a key role in leading the planning, integration, and delivery of ILS activities across assigned defence and commercial programs throughout the complete product lifecycle. As the program focal point for ILS, this position offers the opportunity to influence critical program decisions by ensuring reliability, maintainability, availability, supportability, operational readiness, and lifecycle cost considerations are integrated from proposal and design through manufacturing, delivery, warranty, and in-service support.
Working as part of multidisciplinary program teams, the ILS Project Manager collaborates with technical and program stakeholders to drive successful outcomes, while managing ILS scope, budget, schedule, risks, resources, suppliers, and contractual deliverables. This role is ideal for a strategic and collaborative leader who enjoys balancing project management excellence with an ILS-focused approach to support customer commitments and the long-term sustainment of innovative products and solutions.

Responsibilities
ILS Project Leadership
- Plan, manage, and control all ILS activities throughout the program lifecycle, including scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, deliverables, and performance, while providing regular status reporting to program leadership and customers.
- Lead the ILS activities for assigned programs, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of all ILS objectives and contractual requirements throughout the program lifecycle
- Provide ILS leadership and representation at customer meetings, technical reviews, program reviews, and team meetings, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.
ILS Deliverables
- Lead the planning, development, review, and delivery of assigned ILS deliverables, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, applicable standards, quality expectations, and program milestones.
- Define the scope, content, acceptance criteria, and delivery schedule for ILS deliverables, ensuring they satisfy customer requirements and support program objectives.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to develop, review, approve, and deliver high-quality ILS products that meet customer expectations and program milestones.
Customer, Supplier and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, serving as the primary ILS point of contact for assigned programs and building effective collaboration and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate ILS priorities, progress, risks, and recommendations clearly and effectively to customers, program leadership, and cross-functional teams, ensuring stakeholder alignment and program execution.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across internal teams and external partners to coordinate ILS activities, resolve issues, and ensure the successful delivery of program commitments.
Business Development and Continuous Improvement
- Support business development activities by contributing to proposals, cost estimates, Statements of Work (SOWs), and ILS solution development.
- Identify and implement improvements to ILS processes and tools to improve quality, efficiency, consistency, and overall program delivery.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), or a related field, or equivalent relevant military or industry experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of Project or Program Management experience leading Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities on complex programs
- Demonstrated people leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and building strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders
- Experience working within the defense industry, with a strong understanding of lifecycle support, contractual requirements, quality management, and configuration management.
- Recognized ILS qualifications are considered an asset.
- Understanding of industry standards and best practices, including GEIA-STD-0007, S-Series ILS Specifications (S1000D, S2000M, S3000L), or equivalent standards, is considered an asset.

Security Requirements
All candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security clearances.
