About the Role

Clairvest is seeking a Recruiter to support talent acquisition across the firm, with a primary focus on identifying and attracting exceptional talent for investment team, and corporate functions. This role will play a key part in maintaining the high hiring standards that underpin Clairvest's culture and long-term success.

The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of professional experience and brings strong recruiting, relationship management, and project management capabilities. Candidates with experience in professional services environments, including management consulting, accounting, investment banking, law, executive search, or private equity, are particularly encouraged to apply.

This position is based in our Toronto office at Yonge and St. Clair and requires an in-office presence five days per week. We offer competitive salary and benefits in the range of $80,000-100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment processes across a variety of functions and levels.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and search strategies.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies to identify high-caliber talent from consulting firms, investment banks, accounting firms, law firms, and other relevant organizations.
  • Conduct candidate screening and assessment interviews.
  • Coordinate and manage interview processes, ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience.

Talent Pipeline Development

  • Build and maintain targeted talent pipelines for recurring and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Develop relationships with candidates, recruiters, professional networks, and industry associations.
  • Conduct market mapping and talent intelligence exercises.
  • Work with both undergrad and graduate students interested in careers in Private Equity.

Recruiting Strategy and Operations

  • Partner closely with investment professionals, and corporate team members throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide market insights, recruiting trends, and recommendations to support hiring decisions.
  • Ensure timely communication and updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and reporting.
  • Track pipeline activity, recruiting metrics, and hiring outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting effectiveness and efficiency.

Talent Management

  • Support the Director of Talent Management in other aspects of the Talent lifecycle including internship programming, reviews, competency mapping and culture.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience
  • Experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong professional judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in management consulting, accounting, investment banking, law, executive search, private equity, or a similar professional services environment.
  • Experience working with senior executives and business leaders.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking systems.
  • Experience managing large pipelines and campus recruiting experience.
