Position Summary
Prepare high-quality Thai dishes, support daily kitchen operations, and maintain consistent Thai Haven food standards. More than 1 year of
cooking experience and wok handling experience are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate Thai dishes according to recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
- Operate wok stations safely and confidently for high-heat stir-fry, noodles, rice, meat, seafood, and vegetable dishes.
- Prepare sauces, curry bases, marinades, soups, appetizers, and daily mise en place before service.
- Monitor quality, taste, temperature, timing, and consistency during prep and service.
- Keep the cooking station clean, organized, stocked, and safe throughout the shift.
- Coordinate with prep, plating, dishwasher, and service team members for smooth order flow.
Qualifications and Requirements
- More than 1 year of restaurant or commercial kitchen cooking experience.
- Wok handling experience required; Thai or Asian cooking experience preferred.
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and follow food safety standards.
- Reliable, punctual, respectful, and willing to support opening/closing duties.
Compensation and Benefits
- Eligible full-time benefits may include HSA after 6 months, paid holidays/holiday pay, free employee meal during eligible shifts, eligible tip
