Lindsay Kia is looking for a hardworking Automotive Detailer who takes pride in producing results that people can see.

We detail all our new and used vehicles before they are placed on the lot and again when they are sold. This provides steady work for our detail department, but we also see a big opportunity to grow our retail detailing business through the service department.

We are looking for someone who wants to help us build that part of the business. The right person will take pride in their work, support the team and be willing to help with new ideas and growth initiatives.

Experience is an asset, but attitude and work ethic are just as important. We are willing to train the right person in-house or through our industry partners. If additional tools or equipment are needed to help you do the job properly and efficiently, we are prepared to make that investment.

Responsibilities

• Detail new and used vehicles before they are placed on the sales lot
• Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery
• Complete retail detailing work sold through the service department
• Wash, dry and polish vehicle exteriors
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets, seats and other interior surfaces
• Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, lights and floor mats
• Use polishing and buffing equipment when required
• Inspect completed vehicles and correct anything that was missed
• Safely move vehicles throughout the dealership and parking lot
• Monitor detailing supplies and let management know when items need to be ordered
• Keep the detail area and wash bay clean, organized and safe
• Help with lot duties when needed
• Support new ideas and initiatives aimed at growing our retail detailing business
• Follow all Northern Roads Auto Group health and safety policies
• Complete other related duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Someone who takes pride in their work
• Strong attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to help
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organization and time-management skills
• A valid Ontario G driver's licence and clean driving record
• The ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• The ability to stand, bend, reach and lift throughout the day
• Availability for shifts scheduled Monday through Saturday

Previous automotive detailing or dealership experience is an asset but is not required. Experience using professional polishing and buffing equipment is also an asset.
