This position is located in Woodbridge, ON, and the work environment is 50% lab and 50% plant floor with PPE required.
The salary is listed as $85,000.00–$90,000.00 per year.
This is a full-time position.
A university degree in Chemical Engineering and/or 3–5 years of experience in e-coat/paint facilities, along with strong English communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing continuous improvement projects, designing and testing new coatings systems, overseeing e-coat and powder coat testing, supervising lab technicians, and establishing quality control programs.
The role requires compliance with applicable codes, Environmental Legislation, O. Reg 851 for Industrial Establishments, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, with emphasis on Section 28, plus adherence to health, safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Knowledge in e-coat and powder coat processes is an asset, along with advanced MS Office, CAD (3D models, drawings, GD&T), and strong problem-solving abilities.
