Warehouse Worker/Labour - North York, ON

Full-time, Temporary - 40 hours per week

Must be available to work: Monday to Sunday between 9am and 10pm. You will be given a schedule for each week.

Contract length: 3 months, with the potential to be extended.

Start date: Wednesday, August 19 or shortly after

Pay: $19.06 per hour

The Opportunity

Our client has an urgent need for 10 warehouse workers. This role will be full-time, with an expected 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and organize product shipments in the warehouse.

• Accurately inventory items and update stock records in the system.

• Prepare orders for shipment according to picking lists and deadlines.

• Track daily productivity and meet individual targets as part of a team.

• Operate basic warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces following procedures.

• Assist with receiving and quality checks to ensure item accuracy.

• Support warehouse projects and learning opportunities to grow into advanced roles.

• Collaborate with teammates to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.

• Adhere to shift schedules and contribute to a positive, merit-based work culture.

• Document issues and incidents accurately for continuous improvement.

• Assist with pipeline-based forecasting to anticipate workload and staffing needs.

Experience/Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift and move products up to 50 lbs daily.

• Reliable worker who has good communication skills

• Previous experience working with a pallet jack, using a forklift is a definite asset

• Load/unload, pick/pull orders, and label, lift up to 50lbs

• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment safely

• CSA approved steel-toed safety shoes
