Robot Welding Operator

Now hiring a robot welding operator in Newmarket! Your work will contribute to the construction industry in Ontario! We are looking for someone who can work both day and afternoon shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor robotic welding systems for steel fabrication.
• Load, position, and secure steel components.
• Set up welding machines, fixtures, wire, gas, and welding parameters according to production requirements.
• Verify robot programs and make basic parameter adjustments when required.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and work areas.
• Use measuring tools and welding inspection equipment.

What you bring:

• Previous experience operating robotic welding equipment is preferred.
• Experience with steel welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read and understand welding drawings and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of MIG welding processes is an asset.
• Basic understanding of welding parameters such as voltage, amperage, wire speed, and gas flow.

Pay:

• $27-30/hour
• Weekly pay every Friday
