Job Title: Senior Digital Architect

$115 - $120/hr.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Digital Architect to provide architectural leadership for large-scale digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional Agile teams, guide technical decisions, and design scalable, secure, and modern digital solutions.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent education will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional Agile product teams, providing architectural direction and mentoring developers/technical leads.
- 5+ years of experience as a Software/Digital Architect designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
- 4+ years of experience defining solution architecture for large-scale systems, including integrations, modernization, and cloud-native design.
- 5+ years of experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influencing decisions.
- 2+ years of experience working with UX, service design, design thinking, or human-centred design teams.
Nice to Have
- Secure development, RBAC/ABAC and Zero Trust Architecture
- API design, RESTful services and system integrations
- CI/CD, automated testing and observability
- Legacy system modernization
- Containers, orchestration and Infrastructure-as-Code
- Relational and non-relational databases
- Public-sector digital service frameworks or enterprise architecture standards
Public-sector digital transformation and modernization experience is highly preferred. Recent experience demonstrating modern Agile, cloud, DevSecOps, and digital delivery practices will be considered an asset.
