About Phoenix

Founded in 2019, Phoenix is building the most trusted telehealth platform in Canada, making specialist healthcare accessible to every Canadian, wherever they are. Our platform breaks down barriers to care, empowering patients to take control of their health with personalized treatment options and the guidance of licensed providers.
If you thrive where big ideas turn into real impact, you'll fit right in here. We're a team of creative problem-solvers who move deliberately and collaborate in person, because we think the best work happens that way. At Phoenix, you'll find autonomy over your work, people who care about each other's success, and a mission that's making healthcare better for Canadians.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Video Producer who will help craft compelling DTC and UGC ad videos. This is a hands-on, high-output role for someone who can move fluidly between the editing bay and the set: cutting a high volume of performance-driven video ads while also stepping into the camera operation itself — lighting, shooting, and directing on shoot days. You'll work closely with our Creative Strategists and Manager of Performance Video to turn briefs into ads that actually convert, and you'll have real input into shaping what we make next.

What you'll do to support the company mission
  • Edit high-performing video ads and content for DTC brands across various platforms (Meta, TikTok, and other channels)

  • Take a central, hands-on role in productions — cinematography, camera operation, lighting, and grip

  • Own the end-to-end video editing process by translating creative briefs from Creative Strategists into compelling, goal-driven video ads optimized for performance

  • Develop videos that align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences

  • Collaborate closely with the Manager of Performance Video to rapidly test, revise, and refine video edits based on performance data and feedback, maximizing ad effectiveness and ROAS.

  • Participate in creative asset review meetings, capturing key learnings and occasionally pitching performance-focused ad concepts for briefing and production.

  • Maintain organized project files and workflows for efficient editing and versioning across multiple campaigns

  • Stay up to date with social video trends, platform specs, and editing best practices to keep content fresh and and engaging

What will help you succeed in the role
  • 5+ years of video editing experience, ideally within the DTC or e-commerce space, creating social media and performance ads across UGC, skits, podcasts, and informational content.

  • 3+ years of video production experience, with at least intermediate knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and modern video equipment

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with advanced expertise in Premiere Pro and After Effects for professional video editing and motion graphics

  • A creative mindset with a sharp eye for detail and storytelling.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • You care about healthcare and have a personal connection to the space

Why Work at Phoenix?
  • A Rewarding Mission: Through our asynchronous care model, Phoenix is reimagining patient-centric care for Canadians across the country by making diagnoses and treatment delivery faster, more accessible, and completely discreet.

  • Impact & Autonomy: You'll work directly with passionate, experienced leaders who've seen the ups and downs of building a business and genuinely care about your growth. You won't just execute — you'll help shape the future of Phoenix and Raven.

  • Collaborative On-Site Culture: Our teams work together in person, whether that's at our downtown Toronto HQ or our Richmond pharmacy. We come together on-site to build fast and push what's possible, and we love the quick feedback loops, spontaneous brainstorms, and actually knowing the people we work with. Bonus points if you're into the occasional office tournament or have strong opinions about the best lunch spot nearby.

  • Competitive Pay, Real Benefits: Our compensation bands are backed by real market data, so offers are competitive and fair. Our benefits package includes standard healthcare coverage, a remote-first holiday season, and holistic wellbeing support — such as a wellbeing allowance and flexible additional time off to care for loved ones, support mental health, observe meaningful religious and cultural holidays, or when life just happens.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Phoenix team! While we are lucky to attract a high level of interest in each of our roles, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
