Our strength is in our people, embracing a diverse culture, giving employees opportunities to help grow our footprint and expand product offerings and areas of expertise with discipline, dedication and determination.We invite you to follow your dreams and explore a challenging and rewarding career at Martinrea.Job Summary: Ensure that all machines at Rollstar Metal Forming are maintained and in proper working orderEducation, Experience and Skills:Provincial Certification Red Seal 433A requiredMinimum five (5) years experience in similar positionMust be able to read, write and speak English with good written and verbal communication skillsHigh degree of Mechanical aptitude and complete understanding of Mechanical and Electrical proceduresExperience of working with presses preferredKnowledge of machine rigging proceduresBasic knowledge of machining and welding - tig, mig and stick weldingAbility to read drawings, blueprints, specifications and manualsStrong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsSkilled in using precision measuring tools and industrial maintenance equipmentPossess own tools and toolboxHolding dual tickets is an assetMajor Responsibilities:Troubleshoot mechanical failures and diagnose root causes of issues in equipment Perform full diagnostics on equipment and advise Maintenance Supervisor and/or Purchasing Manager of parts required to perform necessary Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs Must ensure all paperwork and logs are completed prior to shift end Physically maintain machines and equipment Maintain Preventive Maintenance ScheduleEnsure preventative maintenance program are done based on assigned schedules Maintain company tools as required to fulfil duties Trouble shooting of production equipment and record keeping of development and troubleshootingWork independently and with minimum supervision Record and/or report product damage/nonconformities to your supervisor as requiredProvide training as requiredComplete routine paperwork as required Support daily production requirementsWork on ladders, lifts and scaffolds Martinrea International Inc. is proud to provide employment accommodation during the recruitment process.
