Company Description
Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projets are undertaking the design, build, and finance the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package.

As Ontario Transit Group, we are now mobilizing our design and construction crews, with major works. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030.

The project will strengthen Ontario's economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.

What is the project?

A six-kilometer tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River).
Stations:

• One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station.
• Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations.
• Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown)

Position Summary:

The TBM Store Manager is responsible for the establishment, development, and ongoing management of warehouse and storage facilities supporting TBM and tunnel construction operations. This role oversees the procurement, storage, control, and distribution of consumables, spare parts, tools, and equipment required to maintain uninterrupted project operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse and inventory management systems, procedures, and controls to ensure efficient material handling, accurate stock management, regulatory compliance, and alignment with project and company requirements.
• Manage inventory planning and control by establishing stock parameters, maintaining critical spare parts and consumables, monitoring usage trends, forecasting future requirements, and overseeing replenishment activities to support uninterrupted TBM, tunnel, and maintenance operations while minimizing excess inventory and waste.
• Oversee all warehouse operations, including the receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, distribution, cataloguing, and tracking of materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts, while maintaining accurate inventory records, transaction processing, stock visibility, and warehouse housekeeping standards.
• Lead inventory accuracy and auditing programs through cycle counts, stock audits, reconciliations, discrepancy investigations, and corrective actions to ensure inventory integrity and accountability.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders including Finance, Procurement, Cost Control, Production, and Project Management teams to ensure timely procurement, accurate financial processing, inventory valuation, cost allocation, and material availability.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop warehouse personnel through workforce planning, training, performance management, and daily operational briefings, ensuring alignment with project priorities, safety requirements, and operational objectives.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality performance across all warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring compliance with project, corporate, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma preferred.
  
• Formal training or certification in warehouse management, supply chain management, logistics, inventory control, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse, stores, inventory, or logistics management supporting TBM, tunneling, heavy civil, mining, rail, infrastructure, or other large-scale industrial projects.

• Demonstrated experience managing consumables, spare parts, tools, and equipment inventories in a high-volume, operationally critical environment.
• Experience utilizing computerized inventory management systems, ERP platforms, and logistics software for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Experience coordinating and supervising warehouse personnel and managing day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of materials management principles, inventory control methodologies, and warehouse best practices.
• Familiarity with procurement, purchasing, invoice reconciliation, and cost control processes.
• Knowledge of resource management, equipment logistics, maintenance support activities, and spare parts planning is considered a strong asset.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with project management, field operations, maintenance teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage competing deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, large-scale construction environment.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
