Warehouse Shipping Receiving Associate

People Store Staffing Solutions is now hiring an organized, dependable, and experienced to join a Woodworking Manufacturing Company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping materials organized, and is confident operating a counterbalance forklift throughout the workday.

You'll play an important role in receiving materials, managing inventory, supplying production with what they need, and safely loading finished cabinetry for delivery.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday
Shift Time: 7:00am -3:30 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive incoming sheet goods, hardware, materials, and inventory.
• Unload lifts and skids from supplier trucks using a counterbalance forklift.
• Verify incoming materials and ensure receiving paperwork reaches the Purchasing department.
• Label, sort, and organize incoming materials.
• Put materials away in designated shelving and storage areas.
• Maintain an organized receiving and inventory area.
• Move sheet goods, lifts, skids, and other materials throughout the shop.
• Supply machining departments with the materials needed for production.
• Pull and stage sheet goods so they are ready for machining.
• Maintain an efficient workflow throughout production facility.
• Stage finished cabinetry and skids for upcoming deliveries.
• Load finished cabinets onto delivery trucks using a forklift.
• Ensure finished products are loaded safely and securely.
• Maintain an organized shipping and staging area

What We're Looking For

• Previous counterbalance forklift experience is required.
• Confident and comfortable operating a forklift for a significant portion of the workday.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, manufacturing, or material handling is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to identify, label, sort, and properly store materials.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable and able to keep materials moving according to production needs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Physically capable of safely performing material-handling duties.
