Korecki Real Estate Services, a rapidly expanding Property Management company, is looking for a motivated Accounting Administrator – Accounts Receivable & Reception

The Accounting Administrator - Accounts Receivable & Receptionist provides front-line reception and administrative support while assisting the accounting team with day-to-day accounts receivable functions. The role requires someone who is organized, comfortable working with numbers, professional with clients, and able to manage competing priorities.

Duties Include:

  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and respond to general inquiries
  • Greet visitors, clients, owners, contractors, and other guests
  • Monitor general email inboxes and distribute correspondence
  • Receive and process payments, including cheques, electronic payments, and other remittances
  • Enter and post payments to the appropriate customer/property accounts
  • Assist with bank deposits and payment reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable records
  • Assist with outstanding account follow-up and collection correspondence
  • Respond to routine questions regarding account balances and payments
  • Investigate basic payment discrepancies and escalate more complex issues
  • Prepare and distribute statements, invoices, receipts, or other AR documentation
  • Preparing Lien Warnings and Lien Placements
  • Maintain electronic and paper accounting records
  • Assist the Accounting team with data entry and administrative tasks
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail/couriers
  • Provide general administrative support to the office as required
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and personal information

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or Office Administration considered an asset
  • Completion of a diploma or certificate program in a relevant subject area, such as Accounting or Business Administration would be an asset but not required

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of reception, administrative, bookkeeping, or accounts receivable experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounts receivable and bookkeeping principles
  • Strong data-entry skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with accounting or property management software is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable handling payments and confidential financial information
