Order Picking / Counterbalance Operator

Our client, a growing food brokerage in Oakville, is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire position with long-term potential. The starting wage is $20.00/hour, with a pay increase available upon direct hire.

Location: Oakville, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Receiving incoming products
• Stocking inventory
• Order picking
• Packaging, palletizing, and labeling products for shipment
• Operating a Counterbalance forklift
• Assisting with shipping and receiving activities as needed

What we're looking for:

• Valid Counterbalance forklift license with previous operating experience
• Experience with order picking, packing, palletizing, and shipping/receiving
• Comfortable using RF scanners and warehouse computer systems
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Team player who enjoys helping others and contributing to a strong team environment
