Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with provincial standards
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Complete resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation.
• Monitor and evaluate resident care plans and make changes as required.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the appropriate team members.
• Participate in resident care conferences.
• Support resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Work collaboratively with the Director of Care and inter-professional team.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records.
• Promote a person-centered approach to resident care.

Qualifications

• Practical Nurse Diploma.
• Current LPN registration and membership in good standing in British Columbia.
• Experience in senior care or long-term care is preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentorship abilities.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain.

Schedule Current rotation is a 5-on, 2-off schedule, with the potential to transition to a 4-on, 2-off rotation. Available shifts include:

• Morning: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Day/Evening: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Evening/Night: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Compensation & Benefits

• $32.84–$41.35/hour
• Up to $8,000 relocation bonus in some cases
