Position

Reporting to the Quality Manager and supporting Project Managers and site teams, the Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and performing project-specific quality control activities across assigned South East Construction LP project sites. The role verifies that work meets client requirements, applicable codes and standards, specifications, approved procedures, and regulatory requirements.

This is a field-focused position requiring travel between project sites in Saskatchewan based on project and inspection requirements.

Job Duties

  • Perform and coordinate field quality inspections across assigned project sites
  • Verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, drawings, approved procedures, and project requirements
  • Verify welding requirements, welder qualifications, NDE requirements, and material traceability
  • Review drawings and field changes and support RFI, markup, and as-built documentation processes
  • Coordinate with the Quality Manager, Project Managers, site supervision, clients, subcontractors, and third-party agencies
  • Prioritize and coordinate quality support across multiple project sites based on schedule, risk, and inspection requirements
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have;

  • CWB Level 1 Welding Inspector Certification or willingness and ability to obtain
  • Industrial construction experience preferred; QA/QC experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, welding inspection, NDE, and material traceability
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, welding symbols, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam. Additional electronic document control is an asset
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between project sites
  • Candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn may be considered for a Junior QC role with training provided
  • Pre-employment medical exam and drug test will be required.
