Job Details:
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the 5S standard of the shop and general housekeeping
- Assemble mechanical assemblies and panels
- Assist with inspections and testing
- Operate CNC equipment for bending and coiling
- Assist with equipment maintenance
- Assist Field Engineering team on layouts
- Cutting and deburring tubing
- Bend tubing by hand and with CNC bender
- Install Swagelok tube fittings
- Produce Swagelok hoses
- Set relief valves
- Conduct pressure tests
- Work hands‑on with product and collaborate with a team to complete projects on time
- Complete training through Swagelok University online portal
- Additional responsibilities as assigned as development progresses
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow within the role
Qualifications/Skills Requirements: Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Basic knowledge of a tape measure, hand and power tools
- Technical industry background
- Experience as a instrument tech, carpenter, millwright, metal worker, construction worker, electrician, fabricator, or welder
- Experience within Oil & Gas industry or Instrumentation industry
Skills and Competencies:
- Basic computer skills such as email and internet usage
- Knowledge on analytic software including but not limited to: SAP, Crystal Reports, Advanced Excel Analytics, Power BI, and Business Systems
- Understanding of assembly, fabrication, or instrumentation
- Attention to detail
- Able to think and problem solve analytically
- Ability to read P&ID or CAD drawings
- Understanding of Solidworks software
- Awareness of the Swagelok product line
