Temporary employees receive an additional $0.58/hour in lieu of benefits and have 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay. Description:The Scheduling Officers work collaboratively with staff and faculty to ensure scheduling processes support the College's enrolment plan. They will meet established timelines to create, revise, or cancel course sections for each term and campus according to the timetables and updates that are provided by the Deans and/or their delegates. The successful candidate will recommend solutions for registrarial business processes, from an end-user perspective, to ensure efficiency. The processes will be easily maintained and will improve customer service and department efficiency. Qualifications:Required:Office Administration certificate.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Preferred:Experience using Colleague (Student Information System).Experience assembling and maintaining course sections.Knowledge of, and experience applying, relevant NLC policies and procedures.
