Our client is a well-established Canadian construction company with a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial, institutional, industrial, and design-build projects. They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager working out of their Mississauga Office, who enjoys taking ownership of large-scale projects from preconstruction through completion and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale construction projects from preconstruction through close-out, ensuring project objectives for safety, quality, schedule, and budget are achieved.
- Provide overall project leadership and work collaboratively with field teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to drive successful project delivery.
- Manage project financials, including budgets, cost control, forecasting, cash flow, and the change order process.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, procurement plans, risk management strategies, and project execution plans.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, and opportunities throughout the construction process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with a General Contractor managing mid-to-large-scale commercial/ICI construction projects, ideally $30M+ in value.
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing large, complex construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, procurement, scheduling, risk management, and subcontractor coordination.
- Proven ability to lead project teams and effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, collaborative approach.
- Experience with commercial, institutional, healthcare, industrial, or other complex ICI projects is preferred.
- Procore experience is considered an asset.
