The Registered Physiotherapist plays a crucial role in delivering outpatient care within a medium-sized physiotherapy team (6-15 members). Emphasis is placed on manual therapy, pain management, and education to support physical rehabilitation through evidence-based techniques and electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine physical conditions and rehabilitation needs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Provide physical rehabilitation and apply manual therapy techniques
- Demonstrate therapeutic exercises and monitor patient progress
- Educate patients on pain management and recovery strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records
