We pride ourselves on our community-oriented culture, while fostering a safe, high-quality work environment where safety, quality, and positive employee relations are our top priorities.Why It's a Great Opportunity:Competitive Pay: Enjoy competitive wages with overtime after 40 hoursComprehensive Benefits: Access to health benefits, a pension plan, and other perks that support your well-being.Stable & Growing Company: Join a well-established company in a high-demand industry, with continuous growth and career advancement opportunities.Team Environment: Be part of a dedicated team that values innovation, continuous improvement, and a culture of health and safety.Responsibilities:Work with Program team to acquire tooling estimates for project budget/timing objectivesOrganize cross-functional team meetings for design, process and build reviewReview vendor timelines to ensure program objectives are metInterpret engineering drawings, component prints, assembly and part/product drawingsPerform calculations for tool and die processConstruct tooling that adheres to Marwood Die Design GuidelinesPlan, coordinate and organize the die build processEvaluate tooling orders, vendor design for sign offInspect test and analyze new, prototype and redesigned tools and dies for conformance to customer specificationsWork with tool contractors, machine shops and specialty services to develop tool and product prototypesWork with the Quality Department to complete PPAP documentationDevelop work orders, manuals and performance specifications to determine manufacturing procedure to be usedTest functional performance of tooling and parts & create Tooling Purchase OrdersContinuously identify process risks per Design and process FMEA's for defined requirements and implement process controls.Provide problem identification and resolution assistance to plant during launch and continuous improvement activitiesOther duties as requiredKey Requirements:Grade 12 or equivalentRecognized Tool & Die Maker Certificate of Qualification10-15 years' experience in a stamping environmentAdditional Technical and Professional Requirements: Excellent attendance & willing to work overtime when requiredGood communication, problem solving, organization and planning skillsSelf-motivated, team player, fast learner, & able to work with minimal supervision Marwood is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive company culture.
