Description:

Join Load Covering Solutions, a leader in premium Engineered Tarping Systems. We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler/Truck Body Builder to join our team in Burlington, ON. If you have 2+ years' experience in mechanical equipment assembly, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic, we want you!

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install tarping systems and equipment according to specifications.
• Manufacture, assemble, and install Soft Side Curtain Truck Body and Trailer Systems.
• Manufacture and assemble aluminum roofs.
• Use hand and power tools to fit and align components.
• Ensure quality assurance on completed tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly or installation issues.
• Assemble and install Front Van Body Bulkheads and Rear Door Frames.
• Read and correctly interpret work orders and schematics.
• Lead and manage team members on work assignments and delivery of product according to production schedule.
• Communicate status of work to Plant Management.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience in mechanical equipment assembly.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
• Motivated team player who is reliable and punctual.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working with transport trailer body construction, assembly, maintenance, and/or repairs.
• Proficient in electrical systems.
