We are seeking an experienced and dependable Plumber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, technical problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining plumbing/ mechanical and electrical systems.

In this role, you will inspect pumps, motors and components, diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, perform repairs and preventative maintenance, and use a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment. You must be comfortable reading schematics, technical drawings, service manuals, and repair specifications and have a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer service.

We are seeking a motivated professional with approximately 6–10 years of plumbing and/or mechanic experience. Candidates with strong mechanical or industrial maintenance experience and a willingness to learn may also be considered.

Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and related plumbing/automotive systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and servicing on large-scale/industrial plumbing and mechanical systems
  • Identify faulty, worn, damaged, or defective components and determine appropriate repairs
  • Read & interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system manuals to execute repairs efficiently
  • Perform mechanical repairs, component replacement, rebuilding, disassembly, and reassembly
  • Use diagnostic equipment and mechanical tools to identify and resolve problems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Operate shop tools such as hydraulic presses, pullers, grinders, and torque tools
  • Inspect repaired pumps, motors and components to verify proper operation and repair quality
  • Follow manufacturer specifications, repair procedures, checklists, and safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, parts used, and service(s) performed
  • Identify parts and materials needed for repairs and communicate inventory needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
  • Clearly communicate repair findings, recommended repairs, and maintenance procedures to customers and team members
  • Provide professional customer service and answer questions regarding pump & motor repairs and maintenance
  • Collaborate with other mechanics, technicians, and team members to resolve complex mechanical issues
  • Follow all applicable workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Consistent access to a vehicle
  • Aptitude for learning — even if you've little to no specific experience, we're willing to teach if you're willing to learn!
  • 6 - 10 years of professional mechanic/technician -- automotive, plumbing, or industrial plumbing experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing/automotive mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proven experience with automotive and/or plumbing diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and develop effective repair solutions
  • Strong understanding of (industrial/commercial) plumbing, automotive components, engines/motors, pumps, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and service manuals
  • Familiarity with plumbing & automotive diagnostic tools, service equipment, hand tools, and power tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Fluent understanding & grasp of the English language
  • Strong verbal & written English communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required
  • Dependable, organized, motivated, and safety-conscious
