About Us

Altevita is a design-build firm based in Toronto, delivering full custom home builds, home additions, and extensions across the GTA. We're growing fast and looking for a Project Coordinator / Junior Estimator to support our office and field teams on a part-time basis.

The Role

Support project delivery and estimating for a growing team handling multiple concurrent projects. You'll prepare cost estimates for new projects (roughly 3-5 per month) and keep day-to-day project administration running smoothly in Buildertrend.

What You'll Do

Estimating

• Prepare preliminary cost estimates from architectural drawings (material takeoffs, labor, and subtrade costs)

• Use established pricing references and past project data to build estimates

• Support the Construction Manager in finalizing estimates before client submission

Project Coordination

• Keep Buildertrend updated daily — schedules, documents, progress photos

• Order and track delivery of materials

• Coordinate scheduling logistics with clients and trades

• Track permits and municipal inspection requirements

• Collect subcontractor invoices and forward to bookkeeping

• Handle routine client emails and calls

What We're Looking For

• Some experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, or project coordination (junior level welcome)

• Comfortable reading architectural drawings and doing basic takeoffs

• Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar software, or strong ability to learn quickly

• Organized, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple moving pieces at once

• Good written and verbal communication for client-facing coordination

• Part-time, flexible schedule (hours to be discussed)

• Hybrid — mix of remote admin work and occasional in-person coordination

• Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
