We are looking for a Talent & Total Rewards Partner to join our People & Culture team. This role combines two critical areas of HR: recruiting and talent development alongside compensation, benefits, and total rewards.
You will own the talent journey from the moment a position opens through a new employee's first 30 days, while also helping maintain the structures that ensure employees are compensated fairly, understand their benefits, and have clear opportunities for progression.
Reporting to the Vice President, People & Culture, you'll work closely with hiring leaders, Finance, employees, and external education and community partners.

What You'll DoTalent Acquisition & Recruitment- Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions, including job intake, posting, sourcing, screening, interviews, assessments, references, offers, and candidate communication.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and make consistent, evidence-based hiring decisions.
- Develop structured interview and screening processes focused on skills and demonstrated capability.
- Build talent pipelines through relationships with colleges, trade programs, co-op partners, and community organizations.
- Support employer branding through a professional candidate experience, recruitment communications, career events, and community partnerships.
- Track recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, source quality, candidate conversion, and 90-day retention.
- Own the onboarding experience from pre-boarding through Day 30.
- Coordinate employment documentation, orientation, and onboarding activities.
- Ensure new employees complete required health & safety and company values orientation.
- Develop role-specific onboarding and competency pathways.
- Monitor new hire progress and work with hiring leaders to address early challenges.
- Complete a formal Day 30 handoff to the appropriate People & Culture team member.
- Maintain salary ranges, pay scales, job bands, progression criteria, and compensation structures.
- Support the annual compensation review process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions.
- Conduct pay equity analysis and maintain supporting documentation.
- Prepare compensation recommendations and identify potential internal equity, pay compression, and market risks.
- Support market benchmarking and the development of the organization's employee value proposition.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, employee questions, communications, and vendor relationships.
- Administer RRSP and DPSP programs and support employee communications.
- Partner with Finance and senior People & Culture leadership on benefits and retirement program costs, utilization, and improvements.
- Monitor employee understanding and satisfaction with benefits and rewards programs.
- Support workplace accommodation implementation while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
- Help develop and maintain onboarding, competency, benefits, and total rewards content within the HRIS/LMS.
- Support training requirements related to approved operational or digital changes.
- Maintain accurate employee and HR documentation.
- Partner with internal teams to support employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Compensation, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including practical responsibility for recruitment and employee programs.
- Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment and partnering with hiring managers.
- Experience with one or more of the following: benefits administration, compensation, retirement programs, compensation data, or pay equity.
- Working knowledge of Ontario employment standards, human rights, pay equity, and privacy requirements.
- Experience using an HRIS and learning management system.
- Strong communication, organization, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage confidential employee and compensation information with discretion.
- Manufacturing, skilled trades, or high-volume hourly recruitment experience is strongly preferred.
- CHRP, compensation-related designation, or progress toward one is an asset.
- Hiring processes become more consistent and effective.

- Job descriptions and compensation structures remain accurate and current.
- Pay equity is monitored and supported through clear documentation.
- Employees understand their benefits and retirement programs.
