Kovenant Kids is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our growing Christian childcare team for our unlicensed part-pre-school. Our preschool program provides a warm, inclusive setting where children learn through play while developing socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and spiritually.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with How Does Learning Happen? and Ontario's Early Years Framework.
- Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Incorporate Christian values and character development into daily activities.
- Observe, document, and support each child's learning and development.
- Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
- Collaborate with the Director and staff to maintain a high-quality early learning program.
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Up-to-date immunizations as required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Experience supporting children with additional needs is considered an asset.
