The Opportunity

The Belleville Senators are seeking an energetic, strategic professional to join our Marketing team as the Marketing & Creative Services Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity to join an NHL affiliate which will allow the candidate to become fully engaged in the business of a professional sports team.

The Marketing & Creative Services Coordinator plays a key role in executing marketing initiatives for the Belleville Senators, leveraging experience in marketing communications, graphic design, and creative photography/video. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced sports environment.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Advertising Execution:

  • Support multi-channel campaigns (social, digital, paid, and traditional media) to promote ticket sales, group experiences, premium seating, and merchandise.
  • Assist with season seat membership renewals and other sales-driven initiatives.
  • Help create and distribute marketing assets, ensuring brand consistency across channels.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and engaging content.

Creative & Brand Management:

  • Assist with photography and video production for marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with copywriting, including press releases and promotional content.
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines.
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to develop advertising, website content, and social media materials.
  • Support sales presentations, sponsorship decks, and promotional graphics.
  • Basic website updating (content management via WordPress, form tools like Formstack)

Qualifications (what we look for)

  • Bachelors degree or Diploma in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, visual communications, or a similar role.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
  • Photography and videography experience
  • Experience with Canva and various digital marketing tools.
  • Experience with email marketing campaigns and creating digital content.
  • Background in sports marketing and B2B communications is an asset.

Who We Are

The Belleville Senators are a professional ice hockey team based in Belleville, Ontario, competing in the American Hockey League (AHL). They are the top affiliate of the NHL's Ottawa Senators and were established in 2017 after the Binghamton Senators relocated to Belleville. The team plays its home games at CAA Arena and serves as a key development ground for Ottawas future NHL talent.

This role falls within a base salary range of $50,000 - $76,600 annually, consistent with the organizations established salary ranges. Salary ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to market data, internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skillset.
