Light Duty Cleaner (On Call)

We are currently looking for a Light Duty Cleaner who will be working as a On-Call Employee for a Multi Residential Building (Evening Shift) in Downtown London, On. The light duty cleaner is generally responsible for the cleaning of all areas of an office including dusting, dust mopping, cleaning washroom fixtures, spot cleaning, emptying and cleaning ashtrays and emptying and cleaning waste receptacles and vacuuming of carpets.
Service hours: Mon-Fri (generally 5:30 pm - 1:30 am, up to 4-8 hours a day and no guaranteed hours per week)
Job Responsibilities

• Dusts all office furniture, baseboards and low air vents.
• Empty and cleans all ashtrays, waste paper baskets and collect coffee cups and leaves them in a designated area.
• Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills.
• Clean, polish and disinfect chrome and other polished metal surfaces, washroom fixtures, telephones, wooden furniture
• Dust mops all office hard floor surfaces and/or vacuums all cloth furniture and carpeted areas at established frequencies.
• Removes full garbage bags from the cleaner's cart and places them in designated areas for transport to the garbage bin or compactor.
• Dust and Damp mops/wipes small area hard surface floors and office equipment on an as requested basis.
• Restock single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins.
• All cleaners are expected to empty the vacuums according to directions and to clean all equipment used at the end of each shift.
• Washes metal and painted surfaces of filing cabinets at established frequencies or on an as requested basis.

Job Types: [On Call], Employee
Rate: $18.80 per hour (50 cents premium pay for night shift per hour)
Must-Haves to Be Considered:

• Have 1 year of Commercial/Office cleaning experience
• Available to work on Monday to Friday (up to 8 hours shift)
• Flexibility to work on weekends if required (rare occurrence)
• Good verbal communication skills
• Mobile phone with internet access
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Be reliable, professional, on time and detail-oriented
• Willing to undergo a criminal background check
