This role is pivotal as you will represent our business, ensuring exceptional customer service and timely deliveries.Primary Responsibilities:Accurately complete standard driver's daily logbooks in compliance with Saskatchewan regulations.Complete necessary paperwork for monthly inspections.Perform daily trips without overnight requirements; flexibility with working hours, including potential overtime, is essential.Schedule services and repairs, obtain quotes and lead times as needed.Maintain truck consumable stock and cleaning supplies; notify the Lead-Hand when replenishment is required.Foster a team-oriented environment and report to the Operations Manager and Branch Manager.Understand and manage bills of lading and shipping manifests.Vehicle Cleanliness: Regularly clean the truck using pressure washers and hand cleaners.Secondary Responsibilities:Assist with loading and unloading trucks; complete paperwork for incoming and outgoing materials.Maintain the truck bay, equipment, and overall property upkeep.Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Lead Hand.Skills and Qualifications:Proficiency in verbal and written communication is essential.Strong attention to detail with basic computer skills.Previous warehouse and shipping/receiving experience is preferred.Valid forklift license and a Saskatchewan Class 3A driver's license with a minimum of two years' experience.
