Responsibilities:Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and proceduresMaintain inventory accuracy - all materials scanned to locationReport and request maintenance repairs when necessary for quality or safety to Team Leaders and Production SupervisorsMaintain accurate production records at all timesSuggest corrective actions and/or continuous improvements and participate in improvement processesReview all quality alerts and notify Team Leader if new quality issues ariseEnsure work area is clean, neat, orderly and free of scrap materials5S and Kaizen activities as requiredAssist team members to achieve work goals and objectivesOccasional lifting up to 35 poundsContinually coordinate with Team Leaders/Supervisors to maximize efficiencyResponsible for pre-staging and changing coil for all set-upsBanding unused material safely and as per standardCleaning and organizing the coil storage areaAssist with unloading steel trucks as requiredAssist with receiving and clearing dock once material has been receivedPut all material away in proper storage locationEnsure all coils are scanned to proper locationAll other relevant dutiesSkills/ Capabilities:Excellent manual dexterity skillsComputer efficiency skills in all required areasMust have Forklift LicenseMust have Overhead Crane Certification or have ability to obtainExcellent attendance Key Requirements:Grade 12 Diploma or GEDMechanically inclined Marwood is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive company culture.
