Job Summary:

This entry level position supports basic warehouse functions in a facility with temperatures determined by outside weather conditions. Job duties will include shipping and receiving, inventory checks, cycle counting, and operating powered vehicles. Training to advance to higher levels is expected of this position.

Typical Job Duties:

• Process and pack customer orders through UPS and FedEx, applying all required packing slips, barcodes, and shipping labels accurately while verifying correct part, quantity, ship to and billing information.

• Complete cycle counts, inventory checks and audit checks in areas not requiring any form of powered vehicle

• Cross train in areas such as wrappers, barcoding, restacking, partial pack, cycle counting and receiving that do not require any form of powered vehicle.

• Actively train on powered vehicles while under direction of certified trainer

• Always maintain the highest standard of safety and hold others to the same standard

• Complete job duties effectively and accurately

• Use computer inventory management program to document all inventory transactions, shipping receiving and material inquiries

• Route and ship outgoing product quickly with minimal to zero inaccuracies using a variety of couriers and transport methods

• Perform daily cycle counts of inventory to maximize inventory accuracy

• Perform other related job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of work experience. Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a plus but not required.

• Flexible to varied shift end times - willingness to work some overtime as needed.

• General computer skills and able to train on UPS and FedEx systems

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

• Basic math skills.

• Self-starter with the ability to complete tasks with minimal direction once trained

• Demonstrates an aptitude for attention to detail in their work.

• Driven by success with a high degree of energy, motivation and confidence.

• Ability to collaborate with others to accomplish goals.

• Good verbal and written communication.

• Must be a positive thinker and a team player

• Able to lift, move and stack individual boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.

• Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
