Forklift Operators

We are currently seeking Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join the team of a Transportation company in Mississauga, ON.

Please Note: The dock in this facility is temperature controlled. You must be comfortable working in refrigerated and freezer environments and wear warm clothes.

Pay: Up to $24.00/hour

Two Shifts Available:

• Afternoons: 4:00pm-12:30am, Monday-Friday
• Nights: 11:00pm-7:30am, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Operating an electric Counterbalance forklift to move/load/unload freight
• Hand-bombing freight
• Performing other duties as required in dry, cooler, and freezer areas of the dock facility

Qualifications:

• Valid Forklift license
• Experience operating the electric Counterbalance forklift
• Comfortable with manual lifting of 40-50lbs
• Able to work in cold temperatures in refrigerated and freezer environments
• Able to work Monday to Friday on one of the shifts above
• High attention to detail
• Must have warm clothes (hats, gloves, etc.) and wear layers of clothes
• Must wear safety shoes and safety vest
