Press Operator

Location: London, ON

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Friday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

We are currently hiring a Press Operator for a busy manufacturing facility in London, ON. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in producing quality work.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate production presses while meeting daily production targets.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Use measuring tools and perform basic measurements and conversions to ensure product quality.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and maintain required documentation.
• Monitor equipment and report any tool or machine issues to the Floor Supervisor.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries immediately.
• Work collaboratively with team members and assist with training or coaching when required.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Management.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or press operator experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Comfortable using measuring instruments and performing basic math and conversions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. Assistance is available when required.
• Reliable with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
