We are seeking a motivated, self-driven, and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our growing team at AMJ Furniture Shop.

The ideal candidate has a passion for home furnishings and interior design, enjoys building relationships with customers, and thrives in a sales-focused environment. You genuinely enjoy helping people create beautiful spaces and are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, providing expert product recommendations, and guiding them through the purchasing process. You will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining our showroom, and ensuring every customer has a positive and memorable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide exceptional service throughout the sales process.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Assist customers in selecting furniture that fits their style, budget, and needs.
Process sales accurately using the POS system.
Manage customer orders and coordinate delivery scheduling.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Conduct cold outreach to generate new sales opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education preferred
Ability to work flexible hours and required to work on weekends when scheduled
Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for providing outstanding customer service and building relationships with customers.
