What Would You Do?

We are seeking an extraordinary individual to fill a Material Handler role on a temporary full-time basis for an initial 3-month term. The schedule will be Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 2:48 pm. There is potential for this position to become permanent, depending on business needs.

The individuals will be part of the Lexington Distribution Centre team located at 70 Lexington Park. The successful candidates will be responsible for receiving, picking and putting away merchandise and other general warehousing duties as required.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position would include, but are not limited to:

• Receive product into the facility using RF
• Put merchandise into appropriate stock area
  
• Pick merchandise as per picking lists
  
• Load trailers
  
• Communicate inventory discrepancies
  
• Complete paperwork as required
  
• Stock counts (cycle count)
  
• Keep workplace clean and organized
  
• Other duties as assigned

What Do You Bring?

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to communicate well in both written and oral English
• Good math skills are a must
• Strong work ethic
• Accurate and organized
• Good product knowledge
• Previous experience with power jack, reach lift or forklift an asset
