ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing lube, oil, and filter services and tire rotations;
  • Inspecting the status of air filters, tires, and brake fluids;
  • Working as a team with service advisors and technicians to communicate vehicle needs;
  • Provide vehicle troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs;
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs;
  • Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs;
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required;
  • Perform road tests using safe driving standards;
  • Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies;
  • Test repaired vehicles for proper performance;
  • Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques;
  • Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

· Valid G class license with clean driver abstract;

· Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications;

· Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;

· Ability to work individually and as part of a team;

· Up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts and their functions;

· Able to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly;

· High level of integrity and work ethic.
