The Family Wellness Program provides trauma-informed, family-centred services that support the safety, wellbeing, connection, and permanency of children, youth, and families.Throughcollaboration with Children and Family Services, community partners, and natural supports, Family Wellness staff help families build on their strengths while navigating complex challenges and life transitions.

We areseekingan experienced and compassionate Family Wellness Supervisor to provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of Family Wellness professionals delivering services throughout thegreaterEdmonton region.

Position Summary

The Family Wellness Supervisorprovidesleadership within the Family Wellness Programby supervising, mentoring, coaching, andsupporting Family Wellness staff. The role also includesadministrative oversight tohelpensure children, youth, and familiesreceive high-quality services.

The Supervisor works closely with the Family Wellness Program Manager, community partners, and internal leadership to support staff development, servicequality, participant safety, and program accountability. The successful candidate willbringcompassion,accountability,collaboration, professionalism, inclusion, anda commitment tocontinuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct supervision, mentorship, coaching, and support to a team 812 Family Wellness staff.
• Staffdevelopment, includingorientation, onboarding, and training of new employees.
• Support staff in managing complex family situations, assessing risk, navigating crises, and deliveringhighqualityservices.
• Promote staff wellness, accountability, and professional growth.
• Programoversight andservice qualityassurance.
• Ensure culturally responsive, strength-based, and trauma-informed practices are embedded in service delivery.
• Work collaboratively withandbuildeffective working relationships with Children and Family Services, community agencies, schools, service providers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in leadership-level on-call rotations and support urgent situations asrequired.

• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• The ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting staff through crisis situations and complex family dynamics.
• Knowledge of child and family serving systems and community resources.

Education and Experience :

• Degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field.
  
• Minimum three years' experience working with children, youth, and families in a human services setting.
  
• Minimum one year of leadership, supervisory, team lead, or management experience.
  
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and ability to meet agency driving requirements.
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Intervention Record Check.
