Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Analyst to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, administering, securing, and supporting enterprise network, cloud, and cybersecurity infrastructure. This role requires expertise in network security, firewall management, cloud platforms, disaster recovery, wireless networking, endpoint security, and Microsoft and AWS cloud technologies.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting complex networking and security issues while ensuring maximum uptime, performance, and compliance across the organization's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Network Security & Firewall Administration
- Manage and administer Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD).
- Configure, maintain, and support Palo Alto, Sophos, Fortinet, and Check Point firewalls.
- Design, implement, and maintain High Availability (HA) firewall environments.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot:
- Site-to-Site VPNs
- Remote Access VPNs
- Firewall security policies
- Network Address Translation (NAT)
- Perform firewall security reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.
- Monitor firewall performance and recommend security improvements.
Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
- Design, implement, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Perform DR planning, testing, failover, failback, and recovery validation.
- Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery documentation.
Endpoint & Email Security
- Administer and maintain:
- Sophos Endpoint Protection
- Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Check Point Endpoint Security
- Manage enterprise email security solutions, including:
- Sophos Email Gateway
- Check Point Email Security
- Configure email filtering, anti-spam, anti-malware, and threat protection policies.
Network Infrastructure
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot:
- Cisco Catalyst Switches
- Aruba Switches
- VLANs
- Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)
- Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP)
- Routing
- Network segmentation
- Monitor and optimize enterprise network performance.
Wireless Networking
- Deploy, configure, and support:
- Aruba Wireless Access Points
- UniFi Access Points
- Sophos Wireless Access Points
- Manage UniFi Controller environments.
- Optimize wireless performance, security, and coverage.
- Troubleshoot wireless connectivity issues.
Microsoft Azure Administration
- Configure and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including:
- Azure Virtual Networks (VNets)
- VNet Peering
- Azure BGP Connectivity
- Azure Virtual Machines (VMs)
- Azure networking and security services
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Office 365) environments.
- Perform Azure SQL Database migrations.
- Support cloud migration initiatives.
AWS Cloud Administration
- Manage and support AWS infrastructure, including:
- AWS IAM Identity Center
- Amazon Cognito
- Application Load Balancers (ALB)
- Network Load Balancers (NLB)
- Amazon Route 53
- SSL/TLS certificate management and renewals
- Amazon ECS Clusters
- AWS CodeCommit
- Amazon RDS (MySQL)
DevOps & Automation
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Implement DevOps best practices for infrastructure deployment and management.
- Assist development teams with cloud deployment strategies.
Monitoring & Support
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize:
- Enterprise network infrastructure
- Cloud environments
- Security platforms
- Wireless infrastructure
- Network performance and availability
- Respond to incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure and scalable infrastructure solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise network administration and network security.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN technologies, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience administering enterprise firewall platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud services.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and high availability architectures.
- Experience managing enterprise wireless networks.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
